More than 100 thousand people remain without electricity in the southern regions of Russia

More than 100 thousand people living in the southern regions of Russia remain without energy supply. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

According to the department, the outages occurred due to bad weather. Most subscribers were left without electricity in the Rostov region – 52.3 thousand people, in the Lugansk People’s Republic – almost 42 thousand people, in the Volgograd region – 11.5 thousand people.

Energy workers managed to completely restore power supply in the Astrakhan region.

Let us note that according to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, a “yellow” level of weather danger is in effect in the Rostov and Volgograd regions on Tuesday, February 13.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova proposed increase the amount of fines for violations in the provision of public services.
