Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that in connection with the latest data on the fall of a Ukrainian air defense missile in Poland, there is probably no need to apply the fourth article of the NATO charter, which is applied in case of a threat to a country – a member of the alliance.
Recall that earlier Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Poland initiated the convening of the NATO Council in accordance with the fourth article of the treaty. At the same time, a representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers said that NATO consultations would not be a meeting in accordance with this clause of the agreement.
Morawiecki added that this tool is “all the time in our hands.”
