Monument to television legend Anatoly Lysenko unveiled

Today, a monument to Anatoly Lysenko, one of the founders of modern television, who formulated the principles of its work and defended the interests of independent and high-quality TV, was unveiled at the Troekurovsky cemetery. The authors of the monument are sculptors Pavel Oreshkin and Yuri Dremin. The project was initiated by the Lysenko family and members of the International Academy of Television and Radio.
Anatoly Lysenko is one of the pillars of modern Russian journalism and television. In the youth editorial office of the Central Television, he brought up a whole galaxy of journalists. The programs they made have remained in textbooks and in the history of our television. He created the legendary “Vzglyad”, his merit in the birth of RTR is enormous. On April 14, Anatoly Lysenko would have turned 86 years old.
