Mom found out about grandfather’s sex abuse of 10-year-old granddaughter from a diary

A wild case of violence against a 10-year-old girl surfaced in one of the villages in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The villain-pervert turned out to be … grandfather, a 58-year-old man, if his guilt is proven, threatens from 12 to 20 years.

As told to “MK” in the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia, a resident of the village of Kozulka is suspected of committing a crime under the article “acts of a sexual nature” against a child under 14 years old. A criminal case was initiated against the man, he was taken into custody.

The investigation found that from January 2021 to April 2023, the man, while in his house, repeatedly committed indecent acts with his granddaughter. By the way, he is not a grandfather, he is the stepfather of her mother.

This story was revealed due to the fact that the grandmother and mother accidentally found the girl’s diary during cleaning. Children’s confessions of a non-childish nature shocked them, and my mother immediately ran to the police.

As MK found out, the grandmother has not been living with the suspect for a year now. After the arrest, the man confessed to his atrocity.

“At first, the girl, mother, grandmother lived with him all together in Kozulka, and at that time he had already begun to perform his actions,” a local resident told us. – Then my mother found a job in Krasnoyarsk and moved there with her daughter and grandmother, since by that time the grandmother had already begun to have problems with her roommate, who continued to live in Kozulka.

But even when the grandmother broke up with him, she and her mother sometimes sent the girl to visit him in Kozulka, since it was believed that the girl had a good relationship with her grandfather …

Users on social networks are at a loss – why didn’t the mother and grandmother notice anything strange, unusual in the girl’s behavior?

For clarification, we turned to psychotherapist and sexologist Alexey Lysenko:

– Why did the girl not resist and went to visit her grandfather? And how could a mother not notice a change in her daughter’s behavior?

– Apparently, the girl perceived his actions as a “game.” Men in such cases are very affectionate; probably, until a certain time, there was nothing of the kind on his part, he just played with her, bought her toys and sweets. Over time, he could move on to some kind of illegal touching, and at the same time tell her that there was nothing wrong with it. If there was no physical rudeness, then the girl could really take his behavior for “play”. The child could not appreciate what was happening and the consequences. After all, this is an adult, a grandfather, a person who was trusted by her mother and grandmother … And she could think that he knew what he was doing.

In general, I would like to warn you that men with such tendencies will sometimes deliberately enter into relationships with women who have children so that they have the opportunity to safely get close to the child.

– How harmful is this situation for the girl, even if she perceived it as a “game”?

– This is, first of all, the harm from early sexualization. The child will have a “skew” in the sexual sphere of life due to other aspects of development. In general, it is completely unpredictable how this will affect her future relationships with men, her growing up and family life. Perhaps she will have a perverted idea of ​​​​the sexual side of life, in addition, there is a possibility that in the future she will be interested in men much older than her.

I emphasize that if such actions are committed with elements of psychological (intimidation, threats) or physical violence, then this is especially detrimental to the psychosexual development of a child or adolescent.
