Citizens of Russia, called up as part of partial mobilization, arrived in the Luhansk People’s Republic, it is said in Telegram channel Ministry of Defense. The number of military personnel is not reported. The Ministry of Defense accompanied the news with a video in which local residents meet the military.
“When I saw people, civilians, you can see hope in their eyes. They see us and think we are their liberators. We will save them,” one of the servicemen says in the video.
The first citizens called up for partial mobilization arrived on September 30 in the DPR. They “began intensive preparations.” According to the Ministry of Defense, after combat coordination, the mobilized citizens will begin to carry out tasks to control and defend the liberated territories.
