The rules for mobilization in Ukraine will be tightened, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Natalya Kalmykova said during the telethon.
According to her, proposals have already been prepared for changes to the bill regarding the registration of those liable for military service, who then become military personnel. This is done so that people can undergo a military medical commission, as well as all procedures related to mobilization at their place of residence.
“Final approvals on conceptual issues are currently underway so that changes can be made to the law of Ukraine and the issues of accounting for military personnel can be normalized,” Kalmykova said.
According to her, “even if a person is not on the register of those liable for military service, the state will be able to find him.”
“It’s better to come yourself and find the unit in which you want to serve and mobilize,” Kalmykova emphasized.
Earlier, Kalmykova said that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are creating conditions for themselves to avoid mobilization.
