Mizulina will appeal to the prosecutor’s office because of the blogger Nekoglai’s parody of a video with a wounded Russian soldier

The Safe Internet League intends to apply to the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check the video posted by blogger Nekoglai (Nikolai Lebedev). How claims League director Ekaterina Mizulina, the blogger’s actions are aimed at discrediting the Russian army (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

“Geek tiktoker probably thought this was funny content. Of course, being in a warm apartment in the City and making stupid videos from morning to night, it is difficult to understand what a person in a trench is going through. What are the mothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, wives of our servicemen going through, ”wrote Ekaterina Mizulina in Telegram channel.

The blogger wrote on his Telegram channel in response to Mrs. Mizulina’s accusations: “In my 45 years of life or how old I don’t know… You never learned English? Even at the most basic level? You look funny.” The post was later removed.

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexei Svalov also asked Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov to check this video.

Earlier, a video appeared on the network in which a wounded Russian soldier, while in a trench, threw back shells that were dropped on him from a copter. Mr. Lebedev in his video tried to repeat the actions of the military to the song of the Boney-M group “Rasputin”.

In February, Mrs. Mizulina demanded to recognize blogger and journalist Yury Dud as a foreign agent (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent in July), and even earlier, in October 2021, to check two of his interviews for “drug propaganda”.

Complaints by the Safe Internet League about rappers who, according to the organization, promote drugs, caused the case and subsequent fines for rapper Morgenstern (Alisher Morgenstern, recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). In addition, on October 26, Mrs. Mizulina reported about the intention to apply to the Prosecutor General’s Office to check the track of the rapper Oxxxymiron (Miron Fedorov – recognized as a foreign agent) called “Oida” for signs of extremism.

The Safe Internet League was established in 2011 with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Communications and the State Duma Committee on Family Affairs. Since 2017, the organization has been headed by Ekaterina Mizulina. The league’s website notes that the main goal of the organization is “to create a safe Internet space in Russia.”
