The Russian government has extended until the end of 2023 measures to support the labor market and prevent unemployment in the face of sanctions. Decree signed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
We are talking about a mechanism to help employers create temporary jobs for citizens at risk of being fired. In addition, paid public works are organized for those who have registered with the labor exchange, as well as in the organization of vocational training for employees of industrial enterprises at risk of dismissal.
The costs of employers in these areas are partially reimbursed by the state – they are compensated for the costs of wages and material and technical equipment of workplaces. In 2023, more than 12.8 billion rubles will be allocated for these support measures.
