The Government of the Russian Federation has taken measures to multiply the production of weapons in demand. This was announced by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the coordinating council for meeting the needs of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation.
“Measures have been taken that allow today to multiply the production of the most popular types of weapons,” declared He.
Mishustin noted that the needs of the Russian army in technology “greatly increased.” For its supply, the factory capacities of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (DIC) are used to the maximum, he added. In addition, investment projects are being implemented to develop production, including all cooperation.
The Prime Minister also drew attention to the need to expand the repair base. He called for the involvement of qualified specialists in the restoration of certain types of equipment. In November 2022, Putin instructed the council to increase the amount of military equipment produced and improve its performance. In January, the head of state notedthat the workers of the defense industry factories work “in three shifts”, and stated that the products of the enterprises “are in the highest degree in demand.”
