Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov visited servicemen in the special operation zone. Particular attention during the trip was paid to how, from a technical point of view, the life of fighters is equipped, told the head of the republic live on the Udmurtia TV channel.
“I want to say that everyone has different conditions. There are units located on the very front, which have the shortest distance to the enemy, and there are units a little further from the Dnieper. They have dug in better, conditions are better. But in general, our units from Udmurtia hold 28 km of defense and bear risks. Everyone is up to the task. I talked to many people: at checkpoints with our guys, and in the trenches. They understand the task,” said Alexander Brechalov.
The head of Udmurtia stressed that on the front line, servicemen bake baked goods and bread, dug a bathhouse for each platoon, and also help local residents. “They perform a very difficult combat mission with dignity. Of course, everything looks so very benign, but we went to the front line very early and worked for a little over an hour. I had to leave, because there is no guarantee that it will not “arrive”. In the following days, I drove past Melitopol, HIMARS shells flew in twice. A high-risk zone,” said the head of the region.
Note that the head of Udmurtia went to the NVO zone on March 27. During his working trip, he handed over to the servicemen a UAZ vehicle with medical equipment, as well as the necessary equipment, including thermal imagers and quadrocopters. With his participation, a teleconference was also organized, in which distinguished fighters saw their families.
Recall that in July 2022, Mr. Brechalov visited Belgorod after shelling from Ukraine.
