Miroshnik did not rule out popular unrest in Poland after the statement of its General Staff about Ukraine
Ex-Ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic in Moscow Rodion Miroshnik, commenting on the statement of the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army, General Raimund Andrzejczak, expressed the opinion that the Polish authorities cannot resist NATO’s desire to drag the country into a conflict with Russia. But this could provoke popular protests.
Andrzejczak said that Moscow has more funds to conduct military operations, and Ukraine is losing resources much faster “may simply not withstand this depletion.”
“Both the internal and external agenda of Poland is bogged down in the Ukrainian events and is being drawn into it more and more deeply. The only thing is that awareness of one’s unenviable position can provoke popular unrest within Poland,” Miroshnik added.
