The Balki farm and the village of Leninsky in the Shebekinsky urban district of the Belgorod region fell under the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result, no one was injured. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“At once, several villages in the Shebekinsky urban district came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are no victims or injured. There are flights to the Balki farm. A shell destroyed a private house in which no one lived. The blast damaged windows in neighboring households. As a result of the arrival in the village of Leninsky, an outbuilding of a private household was destroyed,” the statement said.
A “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat has now been introduced in the Belgorod Region. In April 2022, six of the seven border regions introduced it. Since then, it has been extended several times. In particular, in the Belgorod region it is valid until January 20, the last time it was extended on January 5.
In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been operating in the region, which, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been extended to eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of them were shelled by Ukraine).
