One of the criteria for deferment from partial mobilization in the IT field is higher education, retraining will not be counted. This was stated at a webinar on deferment issues for IT specialists by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, answering a relevant question, his words are quoted by Interfax.
Speaking about the “higher education” criterion, Mr. Shadayev noted that retraining will not be counted, only the presence of a higher education.
“The biggest discussion unfolded about the definition of what the corresponding specialties and areas of training are in higher education: there is no canonical list that would say that these particular specialties belong to IT,” – also declared minister.
Formerly Mintsifra reportedthat the right to deferment may be obtained by those relevant higher education and full-time employees:
accredited IT companies involved in the development, development, implementation, maintenance and operation of IT solutions (software, hardware and software systems) or involved in ensuring the functioning of the information infrastructure.
The phrase “relevant education” most likely suggests that in the case of IT specialists, we are talking about higher education in the field of IT.
Formerly recruiting company HeadHunter informedthat among Russian men involved in programming and development of IT projects, 66% do not have a specialized education.
