Ministry of Internal Affairs to check a policeman who ignored the tattoo “Azov” on a woman in an electric train – Kommersant

The management of the transport department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Central Federal District initiated an audit due to the possible improper performance of their duties by the staff of the teaching staff, the RIA Novosti agency reports. It is specified that the policeman “did not take measures to suppress the offense” against a woman with a tattoo in the form of a symbol of an extremist organization banned in Russia. On the body of the woman was the symbol of the Azov battalion (recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation). She also had jewelry in the form of Ukrainian symbols.

How reported On the eve of August 2, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed the duty unit at the Dmitrov railway station that a woman with a tattoo depicting the symbol of an extremist organization banned in Russia is in the Savelovo-Kubinka-1 electric train.

After receiving the information, an employee of the line unit was sent to check the documents of the woman. The policeman found out that the investigating authorities of the Tver region had initiated a criminal case against a 56-year-old resident of Moscow under Part 1 of Art. 282.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (repeated public demonstration of symbols of an extremist organization). However, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the officer “did not take measures to suppress the offense.”

“The leadership of the UT of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Central Federal District has appointed an inspection into the fact of a possible improper performance by an employee of the teaching staff of his duties … Based on the results of the appointed inspection, the actions of the employee will be given a legal assessment,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
