The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation said that there was indeed a shortage of antibiotics based on amoxicillin in Moscow pharmacies, but assured that in the near future disruptions in the supply of these drugs would stop.
According to the pharmacist of one of the pharmacies, it is currently impossible to buy an antibiotic, since it has run out in warehouses. At the same time, the drug can be ordered online, in particular, on the Apteka.ru and EApteka services.
In turn, a representative of the Zdravcity marketplace noted that drugs based on amoxicillin and clavulanic acid are now available.
In the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the reasons for the shortage were the seasonal rise in the incidence and the desire of citizens to stock up on the Amoxiclav drug.
