Women in Russia live nine to ten years longer than men. This statement was made on Monday, December 11, at a round table in the State Duma by Oksana Drapkina, chief freelance specialist in therapy and general practice of the Ministry of Health of the FF.
At the same time, she noted that, in general, life expectancy in the country is increasing.
“The difference between male life expectancy and female life expectancy has not yet decreased; it is about 9-10 years,” said a representative of the Ministry of Health.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin reported a record life expectancy for the current year. He stated that it would be about 74 years.
According to the head of state, this figure will be achieved thanks to the coordinated and responsible work of the government, the Ministry of Health, regional authorities and every medical worker.
