The state exam in grade 9 will be adapted to changes in the history and social studies curriculum, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Education said.
It is planned to increase the teaching hours in history to 476 by reducing the hours of social studies from 136 to 34; it will be studied from the ninth grade, and not from the sixth. The changes should not significantly complicate passing the OGE for students, the department emphasized
Adaptation of the exam will be carried out by integrating the content of the subject “Fundamentals of the spiritual and moral culture of the peoples of Russia” into the training course “History of our region”.
