Ministry of Education and Science: Artem Azhgirevich appointed Rector of MADI

Artem Azhgirevich has been appointed rector of the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), as the Ministry of Education and Science announced on Saturday in its telegram channel.
It is noted that Azhgirevich has awards, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, a diploma of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, gratitude from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and was also awarded the title of Honorary Engineer. The rector of MADI is the author of more than 150 scientific and methodological works, he has 42 patents for inventions, he has a PhD in technical sciences.
In 2000, Artem Azhgirevich graduated from the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law, in 2009 – from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. In 2015, Azhgirevich underwent professional retraining at the Higher School of Economics, according to the Ministry of Education and Science.
Azhgirevich paid attention to scientific, social and political areas, devoted 12 years to work in the “Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia”, headed the association “Assistance to manufacturers of high-tech products”, served as deputy chairman of the government of the Tver region. In addition, he taught at the RAGS under the President of the Russian Federation, Izhevsk State Technical University and other universities.
