The minister said that the formation of the reserve army would be completed by the end of June. An army corps will also be created. They will receive more than 3,700 vehicles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with war correspondents on June 13 declaredthat now the Russian army does not need additional mobilization. According to him, since January, 150,000 people have been recruited for contract service, along with 156,000 volunteers.
June 10 Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov informed, that 13.5 thousand people were accepted for service under the contract since the beginning of May. This is 3.1 times more than in April and more than double the last year’s figure.
