Ministry of Defense: aviation group “South” destroyed four places of deployment of Ukrainian brigades

In three directions, the aviation of the Southern Group of Forces struck and destroyed the points of temporary deployment of three mechanized Ukrainian brigades, as well as a territorial defense brigade. This was announced by the head of the group’s press center, Vadim Astafiev, in an interview.
“Bomber aviation of the Southern Group of Forces carried out missile and bomb strikes on enemy targets in three directions: Lisichansk, Soledaro-Artemovsk and Aleksandro-Kalinovsk. As a result, temporary deployment points of personnel of the 92nd, 54th and 22nd mechanized brigades were hit Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 129th brigade of the enemy’s territorial defense,” Astafyev commented.
He also noted that the units of the grouping successfully repelled the attack of the assault group of the 110th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Krutaya Balka in the Avdeevka direction.
In addition to this, the head of the press center said that a special unit of the Southern Military District stopped the actions of an enemy reconnaissance and sabotage group in the Pervomaisky area. Thanks to the artillery strike, the enemy was stopped and suffered losses both in personnel and in equipment.
Astafyev also noted that the artillery of the group struck at key points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Krasnogorovka and Belogorovka. As a result of the counter-battery fight, three 120-mm mortars and two vehicles used by the enemy were destroyed. In addition, the crew of the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system struck at a concentration of enemy manpower in the outskirts of Artemovsk.
