European Union leaders have said they support continued military support for Kyiv. However, this support should not be detrimental to the country’s own interests.
In particular, the EU representatives emphasized the need to provide military support to Ukraine without prejudice to the security and defense policies of individual EU member states.
Among other things, it is necessary to take into account the interests of defense and security of all EU members. The EU members came to the corresponding decision during the summit, which was held in Brussels.
It is specified that some European countries, including Cyprus, Malta, Ireland and Austria, have previously stated that they oppose long-term commitments to assist Kyiv.
