Minister of Energy instructed to provide Mariupol with backup power supply

Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that it is necessary to provide Mariupol with a backup power supply. This was reported in the Ministry of Energy.
“Nikolai Shulginov instructed to provide Mariupol with a backup power supply, having completed an alternative option with the completion of work by mid-November,” the report says.
They explained that an alternative option would allow organizing additional redundancy also for the Kherson and Zaporozhye energy systems.
Work on the formation of the third source of energy supply for Mariupol is going to be completed by the end of December.
