Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation Reshetnikov: The Bashkortostan team is powerful, strong, and trusted at the federal level

The first coordination meeting is taking place in Ufa, in which the ministers of economics of the constituent entities of Russia are taking part. The organizers of the meeting are the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Government of Bashkortostan.

Answering the question whether the experience of Bashkortostan can be applied in other regions of the country, the head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, replied that it is no coincidence that the congress is being held in Ufa.

– Bashkortostan combines federal instruments very effectively. The republic is also promoting its agenda and its unique initiatives, which are then replicated,” Reshetnikov said.

As the head of the Republic of Belarus Radiy Khabirov noted, any event held in Ufa is always promising for attracting investment.

– Today we discussed the economy of consumption, expanding foreign economic activity and increasing competencies in this area. They also said that tourism is not just an extension to the economy, but an independent type of economic activity. We will try to implement everything that was in the minister’s report. Therefore, today there was a reconciliation of coordinates, a reconciliation of what we should do. We cannot help but check, because any global decisions of the federal government are accompanied by financial and organizational instruments for their implementation,” said the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov.

Maxim Reshetnikov also added that regions attract funds from the federal budget and compete for the implementation of initiatives. According to the minister, the government always analyzes which regional initiatives to trust more.

– In this regard, the Bashkortostan team is powerful and strong. She is trusted at the federal level. This trust is based on already completed projects. That’s why it’s so extremely important for us to, as they say, synchronize our watches here. There is always a very constructive dialogue and good understanding in the republic,” said the head of the department.
