State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov responded to the rude words of People’s Artist of the RSFSR Nikita Mikhalkov, which the parliamentarian may well take personally. The famous director called “shit” parents who do not want to show their children the series “A Boy’s Word.”

“If parents are afraid to show this picture and are afraid that their children will become like this, these parents are shit. It is they who do not know how to raise their children. They are not sure that they were able to instill in their children disgust for what the creator of the series is talking about,” said Nikita Mikhalkov, Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia and President of the Russian Cultural Foundation, on the air of the author’s program. None of the Ministry of Culture officials have yet objected to the director. But there was a first reaction from the State Duma.

“I don’t think it’s necessary at all to insult people by rewarding them with such a word,” Vitaly Milonov, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on issues of family protection, paternity, motherhood and childhood, told MK. – Perhaps only an absolutely infallible person, devoid of vices, could attach such an epithet.
