In 2024, Gazprom will invest a record amount of 270 billion rubles in the program for gasification and additional gasification of regions. The head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, announced this at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. Mr. Miller promised to completely complete gasification by 2030.
“Next year we plan to further increase the pace of our work on additional gasification and gasification of the country. We have allocated a record amount for these purposes—RUB 270.3 billion. This is 33.5 billion rubles. more than this year,” said the head of the company.
As of January 1, 2024, the gasification level should be 89% of 100% of technically possible network gasification. According to the post-gasification program, this year Gazprom completed 50% more work than in 2022. In 2023, Gazprom supplied gas to 400 settlements and also built 2.9 thousand kilometers of gas pipelines.
During the direct line of President Vladimir Putin asked to supply gas to the village of Elpatyevo, Yaroslavl region. The President promised to “definitely watch.” However, the regional government reported that only 11 people live in Elpatyevo, so the village is not included in the gasification program for 2022–2031.
