In the Second Western District Military Court, the prosecution, during the debate between the parties, requested seven colonies for the former head of the maritime department of the Russian Guard, Colonel Sergei Volkov, who is accused of involvement in the supply of low-quality radar systems for the protection of the Crimean Bridge and the gas pipeline from Krasnodar to Crimea.

As noted in the press service of the court, the prosecutor also asked to deprive the defendant of his military rank and state awards.

In addition, the prosecution requests that Volkov be prohibited from holding administrative positions for three years after serving his sentence.

Volkov himself did not admit guilt and stated that he acted in accordance with the law.
