American mercenary Trent Davis was killed in the Kherson region, having barely arrived at the scene of hostilities, war correspondent and expert Boris Rozhin writes in his Telegram channel.
The Kansas native enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17 as a chemical operations specialist and left the military in December 2021.
In search of work and combat experience, the American went to Ukraine in March and joined the Georgian Legion. He left Ukraine two months later, as the Georgian mercenaries considered him insufficiently experienced to take part in the hostilities.
In October, Davis returned to Ukraine and signed with the International Legion, which he bragged about to his parents on November 4.
Already on November 8, his group went to the front line in the Kherson region. On the same day, the American was seriously injured and died from blood loss during the evacuation.
According to Rozhin, there is a serious shortage of personnel in foreign units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which forces their curators to raise salaries and reduce requirements for recruits.
