The military commissar of Moscow, Colonel Maxim Loktev, in an interview with journalists, assured that Russian conscripts would not be sent for military service to new regions of the Russian Federation.
According to him, all conscripts will be sent for military service to permanent deployment points located on the territory of the Russian Federation, with the exception of four new regions.
“Citizens called up for military service in the spring draft campaign of 2023 will not be sent to the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions,” Loktev said.
He clarified that over 5,000 people are planned to be called up for military service during the spring conscription campaign in Moscow.
