Deputies of the Legislative Assembly, members of the Committee on Education, Culture and Health, proposed amending the regional law “On Physical Culture and Sports”. It is planned to develop service-applied and military-applied sports in the region. It is proposed to vest the Department of Physical Culture with powers.
It is planned to allocate funds from the regional budget for the development of these sports for rescuers, firefighters and employees of specialized services. Amendments to the regional law will bring it into line with federal standards. Developing a mechanism for introducing such sports and obtaining additional funds will make it possible to hold sports competitions between services, unite teams, and raise morale.
The law will be considered at the next session of the regional legislative assembly.
