The head of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Nikita Mikhalkov, asked for a deferral of conscription as part of partial mobilization for film industry specialists who work on the filming of socially significant projects. The director sent an appeal with a corresponding request to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
