Actor Mikhail Efremov, sentenced to 7.5 years in prison for a fatal accident, asked to replace his prison term with forced labor. This is stated in the materials submitted to the Alekseevsky District Court of the Belgorod Region.

Recall that Efremov became the culprit of an accident on Smolenskaya Square in Moscow in June 2020. He was drunk at the time of the accident. The driver of the van Sergey Zakharov died in the accident.
The Presnensky court sentenced Efremov to 8 years in prison. Then the Moscow City Court commuted the sentence to 7 years 6 months. Now Efremov is in colony No. 4 in the city of Alekseevka in the Belgorod region.
