People’s Artist of the RSFSR Mikhail Boyarsky in an interview with Channel 5 announced his intention to end his career in the theater. The actor admitted that this decision is due to his state of health.
According to the artist, he likes to stay at home, play with his grandchildren, go on vacation with his wife, and also follow the progress of his children. He clarified that everything came from this “repertoire of youth folly.”
Boyarsky explained that his decision to end his theatrical career was due to health problems, in particular, post-covid complications. As the artist noted, he barely moves around the stage, it is hard for him to dance and he cannot always sing. In addition, the actor added that he “became much dumber”, and besides, he is not as mobile as he was before.
The actor stressed that everything leaves its traces, and the post-covid syndrome is a monstrous and very unpleasant condition.
