The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has approved a notification form that, from January 7, 2024, foreigners will have to fill out when seeking employment or obtaining a patent in Russia. This is stated in order Ministry of Internal Affairs on the website of legal acts.
“A notification about the implementation of labor activities by a foreign citizen or stateless person who has received a patent is submitted to the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional and district levels that issued the patent within two months from the date of issue of the patent,” the document says.
The notification, as specified in the order, can be filled out by hand or on a computer in Russian. It must also be accompanied by a copy of the employment contract. After this, the documents must be submitted to the territorial department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
