Microsoft will release Teams and an office suite for Apple Vision Pro on February 2 – Kommersant

American corporation Microsoft getting ready to release on February 2 a set of Micsoroft 365 applications for the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset. The Apple headset will be able to run Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Loop and OneNote.

Vision Pro owners will also have access to the Copilot AI assistant, which can be used when creating and editing documents. Word for Vision Pro will have a focus mode similar to the reading mode in the desktop versions and a ribbon interface. PowerPoint will allow you to create presentations using voice commands. Will not be available in Teams initially running recently support for 3D meetings, since this function is currently only compatible with Quest devices from Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

Previously Microsoft announced about the termination of the WordPad text editor. Also the company released update of the Windows 11 operating system, in which the OS installation interface was redesigned and a function was added to improve the quality of the user’s voice during video calls, and the “screen narrator” was improved.
