American corporation Microsoft going release a new version of the Office suite of applications that does not require a subscription or Internet connection. The preview version of Microsoft Office 2024 will be released in April 2024, and the full launch will take place later in 2024.

You can purchase the Office 2024 package for a one-time payment; the recommended price starts at $149. It’s likely that the package will be available at a significant discount in the future: Office 2021 currently costs $45, and Office Professional Plus costs $39. The package will also lack the Publisher application, which Microsoft plans to stop supporting in 2026. Office 2024 will be compatible with 32- and 64-bit Windows 11, Windows 10 and MacOS operating systems. Updates will be released for the first five years after the package is released, after which only security updates will be available.
