19-year-old MGIMO student Gleb Pisarev, accused of beating CSKA star Alexei Shved, was arrested for 1 month and 29 days.
As the MK correspondent reports from the courtroom, the investigator of the Investigative Committee insisted on such a preventive measure, saying that Pisarev, although he was cooperating with the investigation, did not admit guilt. If he is free, he can hide and destroy evidence, negotiate with other participants.
The father of the young man was present at the hearing, claiming that the conflict was due to a misunderstanding: they say that at first the parties talked peacefully.
– The athlete’s wife had a fight on the street with Ramzan (another defendant in the criminal case. – Note. ed.). The basketball player stood up for his wife, and then Yusuf, the driver of Ramzan, ran up, made a sweep and hit the Shved twice, – Pisarev Sr. said.
In the near future, the servants of Themis will choose a measure of restraint for the other two accused – Ramzan Amiraslanov and his brother Prince.
