“Metallurg” and “Traktor” played the second round of the South Ural derby.
For the match with Chelyabinsk, Metallurg made a minimum of amendments: Maxim Mukhametov replaced Artyom Minulin. In goal is Artyom Zagidulin.
In the first period, “Traktor” was active, climbed onto the goal, and surpassed the opponent in movement. The first goal in the match turned out to be quite funny: the puck bounced off the glass, hit the back of the Magnitogorsk goalkeeper and ended up in the goal. Semyon Der-Arguchintsev opened the scoring. After this, Magnitogorsk immediately changed their goalkeeper. Ilya Nabokov was added to defend the last line.
The second period was marked by three more goals, but only by Traktor players. Maxim Shabanov, Anton Burdasov and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev scored for the guests.
For the third period, Artyom Zagidulin returned to goal. Magnitka began its return to the game. First, Maxim Karpov played one goal back, and a few minutes later Pavel Akolzin scored the second. In the end, the hosts played with an empty goal, but failed to make a full-fledged comeback.
The result was a 2:4 defeat, which was due to many factors: insufficient execution of chances, movement, individual mistakes. Let us note that on October 27 the teams will hold a new meeting, but in Chelyabinsk.
