The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that there are practically no foreign mercenaries on the front line, since they prefer to sit behind Ukrainian military personnel on the second or third lines of defense.
According to him, mercenaries are found in small numbers in the Kherson direction.
“The Russian military says that at the moment there are practically no them on the front end. In particular, this happened after a Polish mercenary was captured by us. Now foreign mercenaries prefer to sit in the second or third lines,” said Saldo.
He clarified that in recent months only mercenaries from Poland have been recorded in the Kherson direction. At the same time, both Georgians and mercenaries from other countries met before.
