Memorial fined for discrediting the Russian army

The press service of the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg reported that the court fined the public organization Memorial (recognized as an NGO-foreign agent in the Russian Federation) for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. The amount of the fine was 300 thousand rubles.
It is specified that the sanctions were imposed under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Earlier, two publications were published on the website of this organization, which became the reason for drawing up administrative protocols.
“The organization was fined 300 thousand rubles,” the press service of the court added.
