Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev commented on the statements of the Kyiv authorities about plans to “return the Crimea” and requests to the West for the supply of weapons. He stated that this should be answered with “acts of retaliation”.
“The implementation of acts of retribution against key figures of the Nazi regime, regardless of their location and without statute of limitations,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also offered to respond with “massive destruction of personnel and military equipment” and “complete defeat of the enemy with the final overthrow of the Nazi regime.” Otherwise, “drug nonsense can turn into reality” and the conflict will drag on for a long time, and Russia does not need it, Medvedev added.
