“I hope that the Skolkovo ecosystem, taking into account the opportunities created by the state with the participation of partners, will successfully adapt to new challenges. Well, we will reformat our activities to a certain extent and build them into the context of a very difficult technological agenda today,” he said.
Medvedev noted that Skolkovo continues to work on tasks related to the achievement of technological sovereignty by Russia, despite the sharp restriction of international cooperation. According to him, this year 680 startups have received the status of participants in the innovation center, while the number of companies themselves will be about 3,500.
After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Western countries imposed new sanctions on Russian companies, businessmen and the country’s leadership. The states banned the export of some goods and technologies to Russia, and also closed their airspace to Russian aircraft. Some foreign companies have begun to suspend their activities in Russia due to a special operation, sanctions and problems with logistics. EU countries have already introduced nine packages of sanctions.
