Medinsky spoke about the work on a manual on military history for teachers

For teachers in grades 5-11, an additional manual on military history is being prepared. This was announced by the chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO) Vladimir Medinsky.
“By the way, I will say that we are preparing a textbook on military history, including military operations. This will be an additional allowance for teachers across the entire line from the 5th to the 11th grade,” said Mr. Medinsky in an interview. “Komsomolskaya Pravda”. He did not provide any details.
August 7 at a press conference in Moscow submitted new textbooks on general history and the history of Russia for 10th and 11th grades. Their authors were Vladimir Medinsky, as well as MGIMO Rector Anatoly Torkunov and scientific director of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Chubaryan. Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov saidthat textbooks are prepared “in the shortest possible time”.
The new textbooks have completely revised sections from the 1970s to the zero years, there is a section on special operations, and the law on foreign agents is also mentioned. They will cost 20% cheaper than the old ones – 849 rubles each. Training will begin on September 1st.
