Media: Neradko may leave the post of head of the Federal Air Transport Agency

According to the source RBC in a large Russian airline, instead of Neradko, the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency will be his deputy Dmitry Yadrov, who oversees issues of air navigation and air rescue. An interlocutor close to the Cabinet of Ministers also confirmed Yadrov’s appointment.
At the same time, another source close to the aviation authorities said that Neradko’s place would be taken by his other deputy, Vladimir Poteshkin.

Alexander Neradko has headed the Federal Air Transport Agency since 2009. Before that, in different years he worked in the Federal Aviation Service and the Federal Air Transport Service. In 2000, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, and four years later became the head of Rostransnadzor. In 2005, he took over as head of the Federal Air Navigation Service (which was abolished in 2009).
Izvestia notes that in May 2022 Neradko received a remark from the government of the Russian Federation for improper performance of official duties. According to the newspaper, the reason was a systematic failure to fulfill the instructions of the Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev and the government. Then Neradko offered leave the post of head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, the source of the publication claimed.
