Media manager Faib was convicted of libel against Nikita Mikhalkov

The judge of the court district No. 6 of the Nizhny Novgorod region of Nizhny Novgorod found the general director of Mediamarker LLC Alexander Fayb guilty under Part 2 of Art. 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Slander”).
The court recognized the video “Nikita Mikhalkov cuts down the Russian forest. People’s reaction”, created and distributed by the Faiba company, as libelous.
The media manager was sentenced to 200 hours of compulsory work. He did not admit guilt.
Faib’s defense plans to appeal the court decision.
