Media: Israel evacuated its embassies from Egypt and Morocco

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has decided to evacuate its embassies in Egypt and Morocco. transmits Yedioth Ahronoth.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has evacuated staff from the Israeli embassies in Rahat (Morocco) and Cairo (Egypt) due to demonstrations related to the situation in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.
The publication notes that Israel plans to transfer diplomats from “sensitive countries” to safer states; a high alert regime has been declared in all diplomatic missions of the country.
On the evening of October 17, the Al-Ahli hospital in the Gaza Strip was attacked. According to Al Arabiya, the attack killed more than 800 people. The Palestinian side blamed Israeli forces for the strike.
