According to the Moscow Railway (MZhD), this is necessary for the installation of structures that will be used in the construction of a pedestrian tunnel in the Moscow City area.
“The new tunnel, 30 meters long, will in the future connect the Testovskaya station of the MCD-1 and the northern vestibule of the MCD-4 station of the same name. From it, it will be possible to go over the bridge to the residential complex or go to the Proektiruemoy proezd. A covered pedestrian gallery will be organized along the platform for the transition from the residential complex to the ”Mezhdunarodnaya” metro station and the ”Business Center” MCC. The southern lobby will also be integrated with the MCC and the metro,” the message says. website MZD. During these days, trains to the MCC will run at intervals of eight minutes.
According to the Moscow Railways, two platforms with full-length canopies have been built at the Testovskaya station of the MCD-4. Traffic on MCD-4 is scheduled to open in 2023.
