Mayor of Voronezh Vadim Kstenin: I will keep the overhaul of the Yubileiny sports complex under special control

On February 28, the head of Voronezh told in your telegram channel about two contracts that are aimed at overhauling the main city ice palace. Vadim Kstenin emphasized that the Yubileiny sports complex is the home arena of the Buran hockey club, and in August the athletes should already take to the new ice.

– Started searching for contractors for the overhaul and equipment of Yubileiny sports complex. The first contract – for 87 million rubles – involves general construction work: a complete replacement of the refrigeration system, window blocks and stained-glass windows, repair of the facade and roof. According to the second – 21 million rubles – the building of the ice arena will be equipped with access control and management systems, security television, warning and evacuation management, as well as automatic fire alarms, – the mayor of Voronezh explained.

Vadim Yurievich said that the work schedule was carefully thought out. The repair will be carried out in the summer months, when hockey matches are not held, and the pupils of the sports school go on vacation.

Athletes of “Buran” will go to training in August – right after the installation of refrigeration equipment is completed and ice is poured in Yubileiny.

The mayor mentioned another large-scale project, the repair of the Voronezh school No. 45. The contractor who will be engaged in the reconstruction of the educational institution has already been found. The builder will have to hand over the object on a turnkey basis.

– The contractor will not only have to conduct surveys and develop design estimates, but also practically rebuild the building of increased capacity, and then equip it. I will keep all the work under special control, – summed up Vadim Yuryevich Kstenin.
