Maxima Group acquired control in the IT integrator GMCS

The Maxima group of companies acquired 60% of the IT company GMCS, which is engaged in the implementation of business solutions and software development. Representatives of the group and GMCS confirmed to Vedomosti the fact of the transaction, but refused to disclose the amount of the sale of the share. The package was acquired by Investmir JSC (according to SPARK-Interfax, it belongs to Russian citizens, the JSC was previously a co-owner of Maximatelecom LLC), this share previously belonged to the closed mutual fund. Another 29% of GMCS belongs to General Director Ekaterina Voropaeva, 11% was retained by Ilya Drozman.

A representative of Maxima Group of Companies added that the deal will expand the range of domestic IT solutions. One of the first joint projects may be the development of a solution for managing production facilities for Transmashholding, he specified.
