In 2022, about 300 partners joined the Gorod loyalty program, which provide Troika cardholders with discounts on goods and services. In total, there are already more than 5,000 partners in the loyalty program – Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor in the Moscow Government for Transport, spoke about this:
“As part of the instruction of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin to increase the attractiveness of urban transport for residents of the capital, the City loyalty program is in place. With it, passengers can accumulate bonuses and exchange them for discounts and other offers from more than 5,000 project partners. This solution helps Muscovites to benefit from transport, and city and commercial organizations to unite in a single digital space to improve the quality of life of citizens,” he explained.
The loyalty program is another argument in favor of preferring city transport. This is also facilitated by the launch of the BCL, the development of the MCC and MCD.
Earlier, Maxim Liksutov also announced that in 2023 about 6.5 million Troika transport cards with a domestic chip will be delivered to the ticket machines and ticket offices of the Moscow Metro.
