Maxim Galkin’s castle in Gryazi may be taken away due to the new law

Maxim Galkin (recognized by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), as well as other fugitives from Russia who oppose the special operation in Ukraine and throw mud at our army, are in danger of serious trouble. Today, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on confiscation of property for fakes about the RF Armed Forces.

The bill will allow the confiscation of property from traitors hiding abroad: money, valuables and other property “used or intended to finance criminal activities against the security of Russia.”

“They live comfortably, renting out real estate, continuing to receive fees at the expense of Russian citizens. They allow themselves to publicly pour dirt on our country. While abroad, they feel impunity, believing that justice cannot reach them. Now this is no longer the case,” said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.

Deputy Lugovoi spoke much more harshly about the new bill and the possible consequences for Galkin and other foreign agents.

“Anyone who tries to harm their homeland will lose everything and die like the last dog,” the parliamentarian said. And he clarified that the implementation of amendments to the Criminal Code will be carried out in court.

“There is no reason to believe that the judiciary will begin to settle any scores with the suspended Galkin,” the deputy added.

Thus, foreign agents Galkin, Makarevich, Nevzorov and others may lose their property, which they had left after fleeing the country. Let us remember that both Galkin and the rest of the fugitive brethren in Russia have both real estate and business. For example, a showman in the village of Gryazi has a luxurious castle – the comedian is its sole owner. As journalists managed to find out, the showman owns several plots of land from which the residence is located. Galkin owns 16 plots and three buildings on them. The presenter bought some of them in 2004 and 2008, the rest – from 2016 to 2018. Maxim Galkin acquired the last plot in 2020. The comedian registered the house and pool in 2011, three months before the official registration with Pugacheva.

So, given the anti-Russian position and the fakes about the RF Armed Forces repeatedly disseminated by Galkin, it is possible that after some time the castle in Gryazi will become the property of the state. This will hit the fugitive comedian hard, given that his income from concerts has fallen significantly in recent years.

The Internet reacted to such measures with great approval.

– I completely agree. If Galkin spreads fake news about the Russian army, then confiscation of the castle is a completely natural punishment. You can’t play with national security.

– This is an important decision. No one should spread false information about military events with impunity. Confiscation of the castle is an excellent punishment for such actions.

– Galkin must be held accountable for his actions. If he creates fake news that could influence public opinion about the Russian army, then the confiscation of his castle is a completely fair punishment.
